Run your Cursor cloud agents from your phone
Nevernote is a native Android app and web client for Cursor cloud agents. Launch an agent against any repository, watch its transcript stream live, queue the next instruction, search every chat, compare models before you spend, and see exactly what each agent costs — all from a second interface that keeps working when you step away from your desk.
Works with your existing Cursor subscription and API key. Agents run on Cursor's servers; Nevernote is the interface you carry with you.
A second interface for Cursor that stays calm under load
Cursor's cloud agents are remarkable: they clone your repository, work through a task, and open a pull request while you do something else. Nevernote is built for the part that happens around the agent — launching it, following along, nudging it, and understanding the bill — and it is built to be predictable. If a live stream drops, Nevernote reconnects quietly. If you close the app, your queued follow-up still goes out. If you come back after an hour, the agent list tells you at a glance what finished, what is waiting on you, and what is still running.
“Kicked off three agents from the train, answered one question from the car park, and had three PRs waiting when I sat down.”
“Chats stay on the device and on the server for 30 days, so switching between agents is instant and nothing scrolls off the end.”
“The model guide tells me what a model is good at, what to watch for, and what it costs per million tokens before I commit.”
Built for Android developers, not shrunk to fit
📱Full-screen agents
Opening an agent on a phone goes full screen with tabs along the top to switch agents. The system back gesture returns you to the list — no cramped on-screen chrome.
🔔Finish chime and status lights
A pulsing blue light means running, a ringed green, amber, or red dot means finished since you last looked, and a flashing red traffic light means the agent is blocked waiting. A short chime plays when an agent finishes while you are elsewhere.
⌨️One-line composer
Send, Queue, and Stop live inside the follow-up field. Paste or attach images and text files. Unfinished text is kept per agent when you switch or reload.
🧭Phone-first model chooser
On a phone the chooser is one scrolling column: search at the top, models in the middle, thinking levels in a sideways row. Tap the model label at the top of the agent to change it.
📤Share and export
Save Usage analytics as a PDF or standalone HTML page; on Android the file lands in Documents and the share sheet opens.
🔐Biometric unlock
Nevernote supports Android biometrics, passkeys, and trusted-device unlock, so the Cursor tab is one fingerprint away.
Everything you need around a Cursor agent
🚀Launch in seconds
New agent picks an API key, a GitHub repository or saved Cursor environment, a branch, a model, agent or plan mode, and optional auto-PR. Choices are remembered per key. “Get latest main” merges origin/main before any other work.
📜Live console
Replies, thinking, tool calls, and results stream in. Finished tool calls roll up into one line (“Edited 2 files, ran 3 commands +106 −22”) you can unfold. Markdown, tables, code, links, and file paths are formatted. Spawned subagents are listed by name and status.
⏭️Server-side queue
While an agent is working, your next message waits in a queue on the server and is sent when the run finishes — even if you close the window. Drag to reorder, edit, remove, or Send now.
🔎Search every chat
Find agents by name or transcript contents across the last 30 days (extend to 90). Use “quoted phrases”, /regex/, OR, and + / − operators. A hit opens the agent, scrolls to the line, and flashes it.
🧠Model guidance
A two-pane chooser shows each model's strengths, cautions, context window, and price per million tokens, with thinking levels explained. Assist me compares your pick with a stronger option and a cheaper one.
🗜️Compress context
When context fills up, the agent writes a structured handoff summary you can edit; a fresh agent continues on the same branch, with the earlier transcript still searchable and queued follow-ups carried across.
💸Cost on every agent
Each header shows tokens in and out, billed cost, and context-fill percentage. Warnings appear before High thinking or Fast runs and when context is about to enter a higher price band. Agents over $20 show the amount in the list.
📊Usage analytics
Cost, tokens, model mix, and unusual requests per Cursor account; an efficiency score, ranked savings tips with sources, an AI coach, models × thinking level, spend-by-hour heat strips, and run durations. Daily spend sits beside the Cursor tab.
🗂️Tidy agent list
Rename inline, snooze, filter Hide viewed → Show all → Show recent, multi-select with Shift-click or drag, then archive, unarchive, delete, or mark read together. Archive a finished run down to one line.
🖥️Live shell console
While a shell command runs, Console pops out the live terminal output. If an agent is stuck waiting on a subagent, Kill beside that subagent frees the parent.
🔑Many keys, many accounts
Add a key per account — Personal, Work, Service account. Agents are grouped by key, Usage has a tab per key, and cost alerts name the account when more than one is connected.
🔄In sync with the desktop
Sync pulls in agents launched from the Cursor desktop app or CLI with the same key, so your phone shows the same list you left on your Mac.
Cursor desktop and Nevernote, side by side
Keep writing code in Cursor. Use Nevernote when you want to manage the agents it runs for you from somewhere else — and for the bookkeeping that is easier to see in a dedicated view.

Get started in four steps
- Install Nevernote. Google Play, the direct APK, the macOS or Windows app, or just open it in a browser. Sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple.
- Turn on the Cursor tab.
Settings → Cursor → Show Cursor tab. It stays hidden on every device until you switch it on. - Add a Cursor API key. Copy one from
cursor.com → Settings → API Keysand paste it underCursor → Keys. Nevernote verifies it with Cursor, encrypts it on the server, and never sends it back to a device. - Launch your first agent. Choose a repository, branch, and model, then press Enter. Send the first command from the console and watch it stream. Optionally paste a Cursor session token under
Settings → Cursorto unlock Usage analytics.
Notes, recordings, and travel for the same developer
Nevernote started as a zero-knowledge encrypted notes app, and the Cursor tab lives inside that workspace. Keep design notes, PR checklists, and screen recordings next to the agents that implement them. Everything you write is encrypted in the browser before it reaches the server; the Cursor transcripts themselves are relayed from Cursor, and your API keys are encrypted at rest. On a Mac, the companion Cursor Status Bar puts today's Cursor spend in the menu bar.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run Cursor cloud agents from an Android phone?
Yes. Nevernote is a native Android app (also on the web, macOS, Windows, and iPhone) that launches Cursor cloud agents, streams their transcripts live, and lets you send or queue follow-ups. Agents still run on Cursor's servers against your repositories; Nevernote is the interface.
Does Nevernote replace Cursor?
Nevernote replaces the day-to-day interface for Cursor cloud agents, not Cursor itself. You keep your Cursor subscription and API key; Nevernote gives you a second, dependable front end on your phone, in a browser, and on the desktop. Agents launched from the Cursor desktop app or CLI with the same key appear in Nevernote after Sync.
What do I need to get started?
A Nevernote account, the Cursor tab switched on under Settings → Cursor, and a Cursor API key from cursor.com → Settings → API Keys. Nevernote verifies the key with Cursor, encrypts it on the server, and never sends it back to a device. A Cursor session token is optional and only used for the Usage analytics section.
What happens to my follow-up if I close the app while the agent is working?
It is kept in a server-side queue and sent automatically when the current run finishes, even if the window is closed or the phone is locked. Queued messages can be reordered, edited, removed, or sent immediately.
Can I see how much my Cursor agents cost?
Yes. Each agent shows tokens in and out, billed cost, and context-fill percentage in its header. The Usage section adds cost, token, and model-mix analytics, an efficiency score, ranked savings tips, an AI coach, spend-by-hour heat strips, and PDF or HTML export. Cost alerts can notify you when daily spend passes a threshold.
Is my Cursor API key safe in Nevernote?
Each key is verified with Cursor, then encrypted on the Nevernote server and never returned to any device. You can rename or remove keys at any time, and agents are grouped by the key that launched them.
Does it work on iPhone, Mac, and Windows too?
Yes. The same Cursor tab is available in the web app, the macOS and Windows desktop apps, and the iPhone app on TestFlight. This page focuses on Android because the native app, back gesture, share sheet, and biometric unlock make it an especially good fit for managing agents away from your desk.
Carry your Cursor agents with you
Install Nevernote on Android, switch on the Cursor tab, add a key, and launch your first agent from wherever you are.
